Example of Boat Setup The Virtual Reality Fishing! boat is a one-of-a-kind handmade mock fishing boat. It was lovingly crafted by Jim Wall, a friend and local carpenter (James Wall Carpentry) in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and assembles from nine pieces, easily transported by trailer. The fishers fish over the back of the boat, facing the screen and backdrops. Measure 8’ x 10’ Example of Boat Setup wide, it rides on two tractor size inner-tubes and foam corner supports to provide a gentle motion when participants step on or off the boat. I can also rock the boat up and down and side to side while people are fishing. The deck is about 10” high Example of Boat Setup and is easily accessible by the step-up which spans the width of the boat.  The boat is soon to be Christened “Le Mirage,” “The Illusion Islands,” or simply “VirtualRealityFishing.com.” It has rod holders in front and along the sides as well as cup holders (for virtual beers) and two decorative life preservers that I’ve never had to use.
